Privacy & your email

Last updated 1 October 2026

This covers weauxtheapp.com, the page where you join the Weaux early-access list. Weaux is a social app that hasn't launched yet. A fuller policy covering the app itself will replace this one at launch.

What we collect

If you fill in the form on this page and press the button, we store three things:

• Your first name
• Your email address
• The date and time you signed up

That's everything. No location, no accounts, no passwords.

If you write to us through the contact page instead, we keep what you send there — your name, your email address, the topic you picked and your message — so that we can reply and keep a record of the conversation.

What we send you

News about Weaux: the app, testing and early access, the launch, product updates, and anything else happening with the brand. Nothing from anybody else, ever.

What we don't do

• No tracking cookies and no advertising pixels.
• No analytics on this page.
• We don't sell, rent or trade your address. Ever.
• We don't share it with anyone but the service that delivers our email, which sends on our behalf and can't use it for anything else.

One thing worth knowing

This page loads its typeface from Google Fonts, so your browser makes a request to Google and Google receives your IP address — as on a great many websites. We never see it.

Where it's kept, and for how long

On our web host, and with our email provider once we start sending. We keep it until Weaux launches or until you ask us to remove it, whichever comes first.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe. Every email has an unsubscribe link. One click and we stop.
• Deletion. Email us and we'll delete your address and confirm when it's done.
• A copy. Ask and we'll tell you everything we hold about you — for the early-access list that is your first name, your address and the date you signed up.

If you live in California

You have the right to know what personal information a business collects about you, to get a copy, to have it deleted, and not to be treated differently for asking. Those rights apply to everyone here — just email us. We have never sold or shared personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.

Age

Weaux is for people 18 and over. Please don't sign up if you're under 18. If we learn an address belongs to someone under 18, we delete it.

Changes

If this changes, the date above changes with it. If the change is significant and you're on the list, we'll tell you by email.
